1. Status of this statement
StaySorted is working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That is a target, not a completed assessment.
StaySorted is not certified as accessible, is not fully accessible, and this statement is not a claim of legal compliance with WCAG, the European Accessibility Act, the Irish Equal Status Acts, or any other accessibility law.
2. Who we are
StaySorted is a household organiser operated by Brian Ó Ciardha, a sole trader in Ireland.

3. Scope
This statement covers:
- the public website at staysorted.ie, including the homepage, pricing, login, sign-up, this Accessibility Statement and the other legal pages
- the signed-in StaySorted application, including dashboard, tasks, shopping, bills, calendar, reminders, documents, maintenance, service providers and account
It does not cover other websites you may reach from StaySorted, including Stripe Checkout, the Stripe customer portal or Google sign-in.
4. The standard we are working towards
The target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Work so far has focused on skip links, language, landmarks, keyboard use, visible focus, colour contrast, labels, dialogs, form errors, the calendar grid and automated checks on public pages. A full audit against every success criterion has not been completed.
5. Measures already in place
The following measures are in the current StaySorted interface. They improve access; they do not complete Level AA.
- This Accessibility Statement is published at /accessibility and linked from the website footer.
- The site language is set to English (Ireland).
- A “Skip to main content” link is the first focusable control and moves focus to the main landmark.
- Public pages and signed-in pages use a main content landmark.
- Keyboard focus uses a charcoal outline with a cream halo.
- The viewport allows browser zoom. Pinch-zoom is not locked.
- Reduced-motion preferences are respected where motion is used.
- Login, sign-up, pricing, dashboard and app routes have meaningful page titles.
- The 404 page has a heading and recovery links.
- Confirm dialogs, sheets and mobile menus trap focus, close with Escape and return focus to the control that opened them. Calendar delete confirmation names the event.
- Overflow menus support Escape and arrow keys.
- Filter bars expose selected tabs. Setting toggles use a switch role.
- Calendar days are buttons in a labelled grid. Arrow keys, Home, End, Page Up and Page Down move between days. Event dots are hidden from assistive technology. Events remain separate links.
- Status such as overdue or due today is shown with text as well as colour.
- Form fields have visible labels. Required fields are marked where they exist. Validation errors on login, sign-up, account, bills, documents and calendar are connected to the relevant field with aria-invalid, and focus moves to the first invalid field.
- Decorative logos use empty alternative text. Named logo links have an accessible name.
- Dashboard summary cards include the value and detail in their accessible name. A non-working search control was removed from the signed-in header.
- Some text colours were darkened so they meet a stronger contrast ratio on the cream background.
- Automated axe checks run in GitHub Actions against public pages: home, login, sign-up, this statement, cookies, privacy, terms and pricing.
- A signed-in Basic-plan check of the dashboard and tasks pages found a skip link, a main landmark, visible current-page navigation, no unused search control, and no page-wide horizontal overflow at 320px width, about 200% zoom, landscape, or WCAG text-spacing.
6. Known limitations
The following gaps are known. They are listed so you can judge the service honestly, not because they have all been scheduled.
- StaySorted has not completed a screen-reader pass with NVDA or VoiceOver on sign-up, dashboard, tasks, bills, calendar, documents or account.
- The calendar grid, bills and documents forms have not been checked in a signed-in Full-plan session. On Basic, those routes go to pricing.
- Shopping and account have not had a finished 320px, 200% zoom, landscape and text-spacing pass.
- Automated axe checks do not cover signed-in routes and do not replace a screen-reader pass. Lighthouse is not part of the pipeline.
- Third-party payment and sign-in screens are outside StaySorted’s control.
- Some older lint issues remain in the codebase and were not part of the accessibility pass.
7. Third-party services
Account sign-in may use Google. Paid plans use Stripe-hosted checkout and the Stripe customer portal. Hosting is on Vercel. Authentication sessions are provided by Supabase. Those operators publish their own accessibility information. StaySorted cannot change how their pages behave.
8. Compatibility
StaySorted is intended to work with a current major browser and with keyboard navigation. It should allow browser zoom to at least 200%. Compatibility with every assistive technology, browser or device has not been certified.
If a page is hard to use, say which browser, device and assistive technology you were using when you contact us.
9. Feedback and help
If you find a barrier, cannot complete a task, or need the information in another format, email info@staysorted.ie. Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, and what went wrong.
We will read every accessibility request sent to that address. We do not promise a fixed response time or that every request can be resolved in the product.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may seek advice from a relevant Irish public body. Guidance on digital accessibility is published by the National Disability Authority. This is not a complaints process operated by StaySorted and is not an admission that a particular law applies to this service.
10. Updates
This statement will be revised when the accessibility work, the product or the contact details change. The “Last updated” date will be changed when that happens.
